The Session scene in North Antrim is thriving, with Ballycastle the centre of the action, but it wasn't always like that, for when I arrived here, fourteen years ago, there were only two regular weekly pub sessions in this area, & both of those were in Ballycastle.

Since then, I have managed to introduce the concept of the weekly Traditional Music session to three pubs in Ballycastle, one in Ballintoy, three in Bushmills and one in Portrush, & others have followed suit.

Nowadays, a trip to the Causeway Coast can offer you sessions almost every night of the week, during the Summer months.
