This is another very old Bar, in the heart of the 'Glens of Antrim', with numerous small rooms, ideal for a good session. Many favour the parlour, with it's Piano, while others like the back room, with it's high ceiling, Piano & open fire, but I prefer the Kitchen, with the old 'Range Oven' in the corner.
  
 
The local 'Comhaltas' session happens every Friday night, driven by Piano, Piano Accordion, Button Box, Banjo & Fiddles.
  
 
During the winter, monthly 'Singing Sessions' take place in the back room on the last Friday of the month, while in the summer, 'Junior Sessions' are held in the front room on Monday nights.
  
 
This is one of those bars where sessions just happen, so whatever night of the week your passing, it's worth calling in - just in case.

This session has been running for years & years, & is set in this fine old country Pub, on the edge of moorland, on the hills overlooking Ballymena.
  
 
You get a real mixture here, of Fiddles, Piano Accordions, Piano, Banjo, Guitar & Bodhran, all playing away between the Piano & the open fire - a great spot to be on a wild winters night with a wee Dram.
