At the 'Smugglers', on a Saturday night, you get a chance to sing along with all the old favourite Ballads, sung to Guitar, Harp, Bodhran, Mandolin, Fiddle, Banjo, Hammered Dulcimer & Concertina. The bar is attached to the restaurant, so the atmosphere is quiet & attentive, giving you the chance to relax & listen to the music & songs after your meal. |
As
with all the local Session Pubs, visiting musicians & singers are most welcome
to join in. |
When
I started this weekly sessions a few years ago, there were no Trad.
sessions on the coast, outside the Ballycastle area, so it was a way
of spreading the music. |
