MALINKY

".. an all-acoustic Scots/Irish marriage of tight, vibrant instrumentals and outstanding lead vocals"

The voices of Karine Polwart and Steve Byrne remain at
the heart of the material, as do their sympathetic string accompaniments.

Whistle and bodhrán player Mark Dunlop steps forward for the first time as a solo singer of emotional depth.

MALINKY
Karine Polwart - vocals / guitar / bouzouki
Steve Byrne - vocals / bouzouki / guitar
Mark Dunlop - bodhrán / whistles / flute / vocals
Jon Bews - fiddle / vocals
&
Leo McCann - button box / whistles

And Jon Bews adds his swinging fiddle style and a resonant harmony voice.

But the most exciting development sees Malinky expand from four to five members with the addition of the wonderful Irish button-box and whistle player Leo McCann renowned for his inventiveness and energy both as a soloist and accompanist.
